Ceramic Chrome Coating (CCr)

An advanced galvanic coating developed at Precision Products Ltd. This special coating contain non-metallic hard ceramic particles which reduces friction between rings and liner, minimises wear and extends rings life.

The CCr coating has for some time been accepted as the best solution for high powered diesel engines. Originally it was used on the top piston ring only, but today on the latest range of very high powered 4 stroke diesel engines it is frequently specified on all compression rings.

Additionally it is also used on the latest range of 2-stroke engines. The Chrome ceramic coating is an essential element in the tribopack specified on RTA and RTA-Flex engines.
